New Apartments Coming to the City of Monmouth

New apartments are on the horizon for the City of Monmouth in the Downtown Annex building that has sat vacant for two decades.

The Warren County Board approved the sale of the former Monmouth City Hall, the Annex building, to the City of Monmouth. The City plans to sell it to Estes Construction, who aims to develop thirteen apartments with a projected $4.5 million investment. Buildings and Grounds Chair Sean Cavanaugh highlights the collaboration as a win-win solution for the housing shortage, benefiting taxpayers. The vacant Downtown Monmouth Annex building has awaited redevelopment for two decades.
